The Womens Food Alliance has welcomed its newest member, Christina Parrish Stone, executive director of the St. Johns Cultural Council.
After a 20-year career as an attorney specializing in commercial real estate and historic preservation, Parrish Stone and her family moved to St. Augustine.
She received the 2019 Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville’s highest honor, the Helen Lane Founders Award, which recognized her as the individual “dedicated to ensuring that arts and culture are woven into the everyday fabric of the community.”
Her career awards and accolades are numerous. She is a 2018 Jacksonville “Woman of Influence” award winner, was chair of the City of Jacksonville’s Art in Public Places Committee, founder of Jacksonville Porch Fest, former vice president of the Jacksonville Historical Society and a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville.
The knowledge she possesses about St. Augustine, its art history, dining and hospitality venues, museums, cultural agencies and artistic grants are a significant portion of her mission to market the destination to visitors interested in the cultural scene of St. Johns County.
The Womens Food Alliance cultivates and advances networking, education and collaboration for women in the culinary and hospitality industry in Northeast Florida.
